I remember at some of the Trainer Family Reunions we attended in Karval, Lola was always there, and one of my favorite memories is when she would bring a quilt she had made and we would draw names for it.

I will miss Grandma so much! I have so many wonderful memories of her! She always had twinkies and Fruity Pebbles ready for us when we went to spend a week during summer with them. She made the best cookies and angel food cake! She loved to play cards and was so competitive! She always had a smile on her face a hug to give! I loved her very much and I know she loved me too! She is up in heaven honking a horn and waving at the imaginary pink elephants! Love you Grandma!

I will miss Grandma Lola with all my heart. She taught me so much over my 27 years. The two of us had so many long conversions after Grandpa went off to bed, while I was staying the night with them. I would go up to the ranch by myself to get away from everyone, civilization and technology to clear my head and to recover from whatever was going on at that time. When we wasn't playing cards we was talking and getting dinner ready for us. One of my memories that will last forever is that when i was in high school ceramics I made many clay projects and I was giving them out to the family whoever wanted one and to this day she has it, not in the same location but somewhere in the house I always see it. She called it the cyclone pot. I will miss her cupcaakes with homemade frosting and smashed potatoes and gravy.

Clifford says we had fun with you and daddy. Mom was kind and loving to each of us kids. She never did show favortism to anyone of us. I have a lot of special memories with her. She was a very strong lady when she met bill, how he had 3 sons Dad, Pepper and Hugh and she had 4 kids Sandy, Pete Shane, Earl, and then how they created Norris and Loyd and she was a true angel to put up with all of us kids and the love she showed for dad. She was always there through the good times and bad times showing her love and compassion. Lola was an AWESOME mother-in-law which will be missed very much. She was an amazing cook, quilt maker, and man did she love playing cards.Thanking God everyday she was in our lives with our kids and grandkids and making so many memories.

I am so sad to hear of Lola's passing. It has broken my heart she was such a kind person all the time. She truely was to me the perfect mother in law a person could have ever had. I never ran into Lola anywhere that she did not have a hug for me and a great conversation. I could ask her about all the family and she would share their lives with me. My daughter Chelsea grew to be fond of Lola through out the years of growing up and our times of visiting. We both are praying for peace within your hearts and know that it all hurts now you are not alone. Love to everyone of you kids and Bill. Love Candi and Chelsea
