I received more than crosses from my sweet Aunt Elaine. I received unconditional love, support, many prayers and friendship. She and I shared much laughter together and also some tears, but mostly laughter, memories and fun times. It always touched my heart when we went to doctors appointments, shopping or wherever, and she would take out her crosses and offer them to whomever she was interacting. She or I would tell the recipient that she prayed over each cross as she made it, and it was received with gratitude. She lived her life in love and forgiveness. She taught me a lot about forgiveness. I loved her dearly and miss being with her so much.
