To Uncle Charles' Family, I was grateful to see the family Saturday, I just wish it weren't because we were saying goodbye to a favorite Uncle. I want you to know that I was truly blessed by Aunt Fern and Uncle Charles. I have many fond memories of them both. I thank God that they were such a faithful presence in three nieces lives! You will all remain in my prayers. Love always, Lisa

It seems that Charles and Fern have always been a part of my childhood membories. If I close my eyes, I can still hear Charles telling jokes in that slow manner that he had and then his laugh that always followed. Fern and Charles were such good friends and neighbors to my parents, Leslie and Clara Hodgson, and to my family. He and my Dad had so much in common--old tractors, inventing anything mechanical, and of course wearing those bib overalls. I wish I could remember all of his stories but my brother Ray remembers a lot of them and has often shared many of them including stories about he and my Dad. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time and we are always thankful for the memories. He was a fun person to be around and I know you will miss him.

Charles' family, Sorry to hear about your Dad, know he had a long life fun of fun and mischief. He always came in and told so many funny stories, made my day and sometimes enough for a week. I told him he missed his calling, should have been a writer for TV. He also was a generous and kind man, Karval would not have had mail service like they did if he hadn't been there to help, many many times. I won't be able to be at the services as we have a Lions meeting in Denver Fri and Sat. I will keep you all in my prayers. Hello fellow PM Retired. Isn't it grand? Love to all- Pat & Homer Hill
