Dear Rueb Family,
It seems as if you have had a lot of grief to deal with this year. My condolences to you on the loss of your sister. Elaine with her winning smile is a good thing to remember. I have many fond memories of Elaine and the "Rueb Boys". I'm shocked and saddened to hear of Elaine's death from cancer. Words of consolation seem ineffectual at this sad time. However, your family has my deepest sympathy.

Elaine was an inspiration to me. She was the most courageous warrior in her battle with her cancer. I never saw anyone like her. She always looked great and just lived life all the time. She took any treatment that was thrown at her, never giving up. I will miss our annual October lunch where we would toast to another year of surviving her cancer.
I am honored to have known Elaine. My thoughts are prayers are with Dick and the rest of her family. Elaine, God bless and rest in peace.

I first met Elaine at a training session for Survivors Teaching Students about Ovarian Cancer. When she told her story, my heart sank for her and for those whose diagnosis was detected so late. Elaine was a beautiful, gracious and articulate woman. She will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences!

To Dick and the family of our dear friend Elaine, Our hearts are so sad to hear of Elaine's passing. She was a friend to everyone...always so friendly, positive and helpful in every way she could. In her battle with ovarian cancer she took charge of her medical treatment plan spending many hours researching available means of managing her disease. She remained hopeful and positive. Words cannot even begin to express my sorrow. Meeting Elaine truly changed my life. I am forever grateful that she believed in me. Working for her was a breeze, even at the end of most stressful days we always could find a silver lining and her wonderful sense of humor always kept us going.She was always there when I needed support or just a friend to laugh and share your life with.

To our Dear Beautiful Friend:
Elaine was an inspiration to us all. Her fight was a brave and courageous one, never giving up, always maintaining a positive, determined attitude.
Tom and I both worked with Elaine over the years in the mortgage business. She was the ultimate professional and a lovely person. We had so many fun times with her and alot of laughs. We shared many dinners and parties with Elaine and her 'Guardian Angel' Dick Miller. Their love for each other radiated.
Tom and I recently visited with Elaine. We feel so blessed we were able to spend that time with her. We loved her and we will miss her.
