Obituary of Agnes Eisenbart

Longtime Stratton, Colorado resident Agnes Eisenbart, 83, died Friday October 1, 2010, with her family around her, at the Scott County Memorial Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. Agnes was born September 13, 1927 in Piqua, Kansas, the daughter of Frank J. and Frances (Sicka) Lampe. She was the youngest of seven children. Agnes attended and graduated from Neosha Fall High School in Kansas and received her teaching certificate at Emporia Kansas Teachers College. She taught at the McClanahan one room school house in Woodson County Kansas. During World War II she wrote letters to her brother Ray and his best friend Raymond Eisenbart. After the War she began dating Raymond. In 1947 Raymond asked her to marry him and on October 22, 1947 they were married in her hometown of Piqua, Kansas. To this union three children were born. Raymond Michael, Leona Kathleen, and Norma Jean. Agnes was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church in Stratton, The Altar and Rosary Society, the M.S.A. Club and Garden Club. She was a gifted seamstress, she enjoyed gardening, traveling with Raymond and especially enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents, her loving husband Raymond in 2001, three brothers Neil Lampe, Albert Lampe, and Raymond Lampe, sisters Margaret Heffern and Mildred Link. Those left to cherish her memory are her children Mike Eisenbart and his wife Patsy of Stratton, CO, Nona Woller of Stratton, CO, and Norma Fox and her husband Larry of Scott City, KS. Ten grandchildren Michelle Woller-Thompson, Kristy Woller, Brandy Lellou and her husband Hamid, Clint Eisenbart and his wife Elly, Brian Woller, Vickie Duffey and husband Jason, Ryan Eisenbart and his fiancé Sandy Breaux, Jill Conrads and her husband Dave, Lucas Fox and his wife Lindsey and Ashlee Fox. Her great-grandchildren Courtney Thompson, Lauren Thompson, Dawson Thompson, Safwane Lellou, Ahlam Lellou, Eli Eisenbart, and Korrynne Duffy. She is also survived by one sister Ellen Haugen of Campbell, California.
