Grammy Saves the Day - December 25, 10

The year was probably 1982, give or take.
My brother, Jason, and I were around 7 and 8...a prime age for troublemaking. We were out in our backyard, goofing around like little boys do. Our "Grammy" (as she was affectionately known) was inside, there to sit us while our parents were out.
Well, Jason and I decided it would be interesting to toss lit matches into a gas can, just to see what would happen. Believe it or not, we spent maybe five or ten minutes carrying out this insanely dangerous experiment before Grammy caught sight of us. In a flash (faster than any Grammy has ever moved in history) she was out the door and all over us, screaming, yelling (and little did we know at the time, probably saving our young lives).
We love you, Grammy, and will miss you dearly.
