I was shocked and saddened by Allen's passing. I did not know. We were together for 2 years in Iowa. I moved on and am happily married for some time. I met his brother and mother during 2 trips to Brooklyn. Anyone wishing to pass on any information will be gladly accepted.

I met Al when I was bartending at the Route. He was always so full of life and always had something to say, whether or not you wanted to hear it! When I bartended at Century Lanes, he would walk in with a smile on his face and some sort of witty comment! He will be truly missed by me and everyone that knew him. God Bless all of his family and friends during this difficult and sad time. May you be comforted to know that he is watching over all of us and that we will again see him someday on the other side.
