Lola Gramoll

Obituary of Lola Gramoll

Lola was a member of the Stratton United Methodist Church and the Stratton American Legion Auxiliary where she was a Past President for many years and was also District President. She enjoyed golfing, reading her daily devotionals, doing crosswords and word finds and reading her bible and romance novels. Her latest joy was playing bridge, which she started doing at the age of 82. Most of all, Lola enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Lola was preceded in death by her parents George and Orpha, her husband Lloyd, infant son Larry, her brothers Robert (Bob) and Martha Ohrman, Leland (Lee) Ohrman, and one great-grandchild, Adam Nemec. Lola is survived by Linda and Thomas Nemec of Taylor, Texas; Lynn and Nancy Gramoll of Colorado Springs; and one sister-in-law, Mary Lou Ohrman. She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Anne Pepper, Chris and Pam Nemec, Michael and Patricia Nemec, Kathleen Gargill, Jennifer Nemec, Patricia and Matt Fogle, Heather and Travis Potter, Brian Gramoll, and Jeremiah and Lacey Gramoll. She is survived by 13 great-grandchildren: Amanda Nemec, Davey Pepper (Dana), Kelsey Cargill, Nicholas Nemec, Rebecca Nemec, Ty Fogle, Emma Nemec, Logan Jones, Jessica Nemec, Kyle Potter, Jacob Potter, Blake Potter, Cain Gramoll, and Brooklyn Gramoll. Lola also enjoyed the time she spent with a host of nieces and nephews. Lola departed this earthly life on March 24, 2012. My course is run. Praise God my course is run. My Jesus welcomes me. Farewell, my friends, my work on earth is done; the heavenly goal I see. My dear Redeemer’s praises voicing. I leave their world with great rejoicing. My course is run, my course is run.
