Obituary of Timothea Mauck

God brought Timothea Ann Mauck into the world on July 16, 1979 and took her home on June 1, 2012. Timi was born in Hugo, Colorado and grew up in Limon, Colorado. She was a proud member of the First United Methodist Church. She graduated from Limon High School in 1998; Timi went on to college in Greeley and received her Associate's Degree from Aims Community College in 2001. When Timi was in the second grade she decided she wanted to be a Police Officer (she wanted to drive fast and carry a gun). One of her proudest achievements was completing her POST Certification at Trinidad State College in 2002. She then went on to CSU Pueblo and received her Bachelor’s Degree in 2004. Timi spent the next year working at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department in Hugo. Timi relocated to Denver and took a position at Swedish Medical Center. Through this position, she obtained a 911 Dispatcher Position at the Sheridan Police Department in Sheridan, Colorado. Timi finally came home in 2009 to her life’s calling: working at Limon Child Development Center. She loved her students and was determined to continue her work in early child care. Her students loved her just as much, and many even came to call her “Aunt Timi.” She will be missed by so many co-workers throughout the years as well as friends and family whose lives have been changed forever for having known her. Whether walking her dog (Bubba), working on her house, or playing with her nieces, nephew, and family at the lake, Timi was always the epitome of joy. Her smile will always be remembered by anyone who knew her and her eternal giggle will lighten the hearts of all who were ever blessed to hear it. Timi was preceded in death by her Grandfather Claude Tidwell of Brighton, Colorado; Grandmother Argle Mauck of Limon, Colorado; and her Uncle Randle Scott of Westminister, Colorado. She is survived by her parents Dale and Claudia Mauck of Limon, Colorado, sister, Carrie (Mauck) Owens and husband Ed, their children, Timi’s greatest loves, Mahalie, Brynlyn, and Colt of Limon, Colorado, her little brother Matthew Mauck and his wife Stephanie, of Limon, Colorado. Timi is also survived by her grandfather Kenneth Mauck of Limon, Colorado her grandmother Sarah Tidwell of Northglenn, Colorado, her puppy Bubba, her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and all her many, many friends that were considered family in Timi’s heart.
