We always so enjoyed and respected Harry. And what a pleasant attitude and demeanor that always shined forth when he was around. We have always felt quite honored when, a few years ago, we were able to purchase some land (from Helen Randolph) that Harry had farmed for approx 65 years. What a legacy!

Harry I will miss you so much. No matter how down you were every morning I would walk into your room and say "Good Morning Handsome" and you would look up and smile at me. That smile would brighten my whole day! I will always remember the times that you would just reach out and grab my hand and we would just sit there quietly. I am so glad that you were in my life even if it was for only a brief time.

Uncle Harry: I don't know if you realize how all of us view you and your siblings of the Scherrer household. You are all Mount Rushmore figures of Eastern Colorado to us and your passing is a significant mile marker in the lives we live. Time marches on but the memories of you are distinct: from seeing you in the midst of a tractor at Groff Eq. that was literally in a million pieces, to your endless rounds on a combine as you and your brothers worked together to gather the wheat, to the amazing abilities you taught your kids growing up in the Scherrer household, to the love you displayed to Ruth. We are very proud of you and the life you lived, loving and serving your family always being a man of great integrity. We will miss you. Greg S

The last of the Giants. There are few men left who have as much integrity and generosity as the Scherrer brothers.
What a tribute they were!
I hope you can feel God's arms around you in this time of sorrow. The brothers are now united once more.
