Send Flowers Vicente Fernandez, Jr. October 1, 2012 - February 22, 2014 Vicente “Vinny” Fernandez (Άh∙Tsü∙Ƞáh) Our little Angel was born on October 1, 2012. He was 7 lbs 13.5 oz and 19 ¾ inches long. When Vicente Jr. got his first hiccups, his parents would call him “Hiccup” due to having very squeaky hiccups. Vicente Jr. loved to play with cars and tractors. He would push them around the house or grab and flip them upside down and twist the wheels, as he was a curious spirit. He also loved when his father would raise him above his father’s head and say “Simba”, and in doing so Vicente Jr. would smile. Vicente Jr. also had a smile that could cleanse a hurting heart and fill a Spirit with joy. When Vicente’s mother was still pregnant with him, she would notice when his father and herself would listen to music together, he would be very actively moving around inside her womb. Vicente Fernandez, Jr. loved music, he also loved to dance or be danced with. His two favorite songs he’d dance to are “Winds of Life”, by Buddy Red Bow and “What is Love” by Haddaway. Vicente’s favorite movie was a 3 hour long movie called “Dream Keeper” starring Eddie Spears and August Schellenberg. He liked to eat beans, potatoes, sweet potatoes, goldfish, peaches and kit kats. Vicente Jr. always loved bears; he would fall asleep when he would be given stuffed bears. When he would laugh, he made the whole room be his stage, as he would have everyone adore him in doing so, and his laughter was his spotlight. Vicente Jr. was well known to be a BIG Mama’s boy. He also was a Grandma’s boy to both of his Grandmothers and was adored and loved by both. Vicente Fernandez, Jr. was the fifth born grandson into the Fernandez family and he was the first born grandson into the Lucero family and also the first born grandson of Elizabeth and Loyd Rodriguez. Vicente Fernandez, Jr. is survived by his father Vicente Fernandez, his mother Leslie Lucero, and also the Lucero, Fernandez and Rodriguez families. He will forever be engraved into our spirits, hearts and will be deeply missed by all who love him. Vicente Fernandez, Jr. passed away unexpectedly on February 22, 2014 at the Kit Carson County Memorial Hospital. | -- View a Video -- Fernandez video Facts Born: October 1, 2012 Place of Birth: Burlington, Colorado Death: February 22, 2014 Place of Death: Burlington, Colorado Guestbook Share your thoughts and memories in the guestbook.
