Obituary of David John Hines

David John Hines was born on September 10, 1964, to Mary Ellen Green in Gouldsboro, Pennsylvania. He passed away at the age of 58 in Aurora, Colorado, on April 23rd, 2023. He married Denise C. Gauvin on May 29th, 2003. David served in the Army as a Biomedical Equipment Technician. He acquired many service ribbons, awards and medals during his years of service. Those who knew David knew that he enjoyed building and riding motorcycles, watching classic movies, and patriotism. He loved John Wayne and was often heard saying “W.W.J.W.D.” Survivors are his wife (Denise C. Hines), brother (Steven Hines), and sister (Linda Hines). He is also survived by five children - Christopher, Dalton, Tony (Dennise), Carlos (Kameachi), Matthew (Aristea); and nine grandchildren (Tobias, Micah, Angelina, Niko, Makiyah, Makaio, Makana, Amira, and Mariana). David was preceded in death by Robert Hines, his adopted father. A service will be held on Thursday, May 4th, 2023, at 9:30am at Fort Logan National Cemetery. There will be military honors.
