Brenda was not just my colleague; she was my friend. She would always greet me with a warm smile and kind words. I always felt Brenda's care, appreciation, and kindness. Brenda was a positive influence, loved to laugh, and was an inspiration. I have so many wonderful memories of our conversations together and will forever miss my sweet friend. Brenda was a light who left footprints in my heart forever.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body. But, rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming, "Wow! What a ride!". Well done, Brenda!

I truly enjoyed working with Brenda and building a friendship with her. She was such a great addition to our team and to the company as an HR Professional. She worked very hard and accomplished so much. She made connections with every employee at the company and was just a person that you could trust. As she navigated her fight with her illness, she never complained and always had a great sense of humor even when things were hard. I knew her battle was difficult, but she always smiled and kept pushing on. She took advantage of every opportunity to go off and have fun with her loved ones and I could see the excitement in her eyes every time she talked about getting to go to a game or on a trip with friends and family. I am so happy to have met Brenda and will forever remember her.

I had the pleasure of coaching Brenda during her Junior year of high school basketball. What a great person! She worked really hard and played the game with such joy. The type of player that made you walk out of the gym with a smile each day and look forward to next. A lot of good memories. I was blessed to have the opportunity to visit with Brenda one last time before she passed. She was as entertaining as ever and left me with several more fond memories. Rest in peace Brenda.

Beautiful, beautiful Brenda. To know her from a spunky, smiling youngster to a teenager living life full speed (with all that hair that we knew and loved) to a beautiful woman with a heart full of love and life was such a gift. Who could know that her special soul could slip right through our fingers... Thank you, Lord, for family, friends, wonderful memories and, most of all, Brenda.

What a wonderful video of family and friends .
I am thankful to have known Brenda, albeit for a short time, she definitely made an impact on me as a positive force of attitude and resilience in my own life's journey personally. We met when she worked in HR at the Doubletree DTC. She also became friends with Sarah Maniscalco (maiden name) who worked with me at our corporate office in Denver for hotels.
Brenda is a light and inspiration to many here on earth and now in heaven. I truly believe this and want to express my upmost sympathies to all of the family and loved ones that are going through loss of losing her now. I recently lost my dad this summer and hope that he and Brenda are up in Heaven talking about farming and gardening stuff, especially garlic, which was my dad's favorite thing to grow. I know that she would let my dad bend her ear for hours and be gracious to listen to all of his stories.
I will miss her and that huge smile! and know you all do as well, she was so young and it is so hard. We do have comfort of knowing we will be together again and she has peace.
I wish you all the best and my deepest sympathies.

Growing up, Stacy, Brenda and Wesley lived down the road from us so we spent a ton of time with each other. After high school, I was privileged to have Stacy and Brenda as my roommates at UNC. Those years were very special…lots of laughs and amazing experiences. Always knew they would be there for me. Brenda’s love for life is something I will always treasure about her. She never held back, acting crazy to cheer someone up or to get a laugh. She showed everyone around her kindness, love and support. I will miss you my friend.

So many wonderful memories with Brenda, but these are some of my fondest. Making Christmas candy with her and Tina. We laughed so hard sometimes we cried, making a mess along the way (Brenda cleaning up behind us). As I made candy this year with my niece she was in my thoughts several times and a smile always entered and warmed my heart.

Brenda was a sweet and special lady! I truly enjoyed working with her at Flagler School. She often greeted with “Hello Beautiful” with her contagious smile. She was always so positive, had a great sense of humor, and I admired her strong faith. We continued to keep in touch and she seemed to be thinking of me when I needed uplifting the most through texts or cards in the mail. She was my go to for Pampered Chef and a great hostess for Thirty-One. Brenda will always hold a special place in my heart!

I have a lifetime full of memories with my cousin Brenda. All of our holidays and vacations spent together as kids at our Grandparents house (with the cousins), camping trips, fashion shows and trips to Glenwood in the summer.
I’ve been lucky to spend a lot of time with Brenda again these last few years, for family reunions, birthday celebrations, painting parties, and an amazing trip to Napa.
Brenda always included everyone in the conversation and made everyone feel special. She would make us all laugh, and bring energy to every event. I loved watching her and Stacy interact together. Their relationship was very special and their banter always made me giggle.
I will cherish all the time we had together, even though I really wish there would be more times in the future. I will miss you Brenda, you are loved.
