Obituary of Donald J. DeDiemar

Donald John DeDiemar, age 76 of Bennett, CO, passed away on October 7, 2022. Don was born February 18, 1946 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He graduated from North Central Bible College of Minneapolis, MN in 1968. That was where he met his wife Linda and was married March 25, 1967. They moved to Colorado in 1977 where he worked with Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Department as a Deputy then became a Colorado State Trooper. After retirement, he enjoyed working at the VA Hospital as a police officer. Don was an avid Badge and Patch collector, woodworker, and photographer for many years. He also enjoyed his music and his Green Bay Packers. They enjoyed traveling and visiting family. Don was raised in Wisconsin by his foster parents Lester and Dorothy Peterson, with his brother Dave Peterson and two sisters, Karen Kiebler Thoen and LaDon Peterson. Don was preceded in death by his wife Linda in October 2021 and his brother Dave in 2020. He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Carlson of Bennett, CO, and his son Jonathan (Aydrian) DeDiemar of Hermitage TN. Grandchildren; Levi Rogers, Cameron Carlson, Janai DeDiemar, Charis DeDiemar, Alixxandria Barnett, Ashleigh Barnett, Bradley Shafer, and a great-grandchild Anthony Crichlow.
