Please share a memory of Issabella (Izzy) to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Issabella “IZZY" Marguerite Virden
October 29, 1999 - September 20, 2022
Izzy passed to the spirit world to be welcomed home by those who love her. She was born in North Las Vegas, NV along with her twin sister Gabby. She was the fourth of five children born to Michael C. and Peggy L. Virden. At six months of age, Izzy and her family moved to Bennett, CO where they resided for ten years. In 2010, the family moved to Strasburg in order to live on land. Izzy continued to attend Bennett schools where she graduated in 2018. In 2nd grade Izzy began playing football. She was an awesome lineman and loved to sack the QB. She continued holding the line and tackling the QB through middle school. Izzy excelled at playing the euphonium in band. More importantly, band class and activities provided opportunities for so much fun & happy memories with her friends. She received the President’s Award for Educational Excellence in recognition of Outstanding Academic Excellence upon graduation.
Izzy loved to dive into new hobbies and often excelled at them. She skateboarded, snowboarded, played video games, cooked, and loved to create wonderful pieces of art.
Most recently she picked up guitar and singing and despite being new, sang and played beautifully. She loved to take things she had and make them uniquely hers,
she did this with her car sound system, customized Yamaha soft tail and her custom-built computer. Izzy has a brilliant mind, this manifested in her almost innate understanding of all things mechanical. She used this skill much to her family's gratitude in fixing things that otherwise would have been thrown out. Izzy is funny, and she
has a sharp wit that only the ones closest to her were lucky enough to experience, and only if they were paying attention. Among her many wonderful qualities, most precious was her listening ear, her non-judgmental attitude and her ability to make her friends & family feel loved. She is a special soul and will be sorely missed by all of her loved ones.
Izzy is survived by her siblings, Nick (Tori) Virden, Mackenzie Virden, Christian Virden and Gabby Virden. Parents Michael C. and Peggy L. (Dilleshaw) Virden, Grandparents Ellen and Daryl Mangum, numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins and her beloved python Buppy.
Izzy is preceded in death by her maternal Grandparents Robert & Phyllis Dilleshaw, Paternal Grandfather Thomas F. Virden.
