Obituary of Kenneth W. Vogel

Kenneth William Vogel went to be with the Lord on February 20th, 2021 at the VA hospital in Aurora, CO. Ken was the son of Kenneth J. Vogel and his wife Marjorie B. Vogel (deceased). Ken was born in Denver, Colorado, on February 18th, 1946 and spent his entire life there. He was a graduate of Manuel High School in Denver, Colorado. Ken continued his education with a two year degree in drafting. He worked for a number of years until he started his own business in graphic design. He did many detailed maps for the Federal Government, such as Dillon reservoir. Ken was also a wonderful artist, which he did as a hobby. Ken was a diehard fan of the Denver Broncos. Ken was a member of the Colorado Air National Guard for 16 years and worked in supply. He was called to active duty during the Vietnam War. Ken was a loving son, and brother to Susan Middleton (Roland), of Strasburg, Colorado, and Connie Vogel, of Aurora, Colorado. Ken was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Crystal Steuve and her sons, Patrick and Miles Steuve of Broomfield, Colorado; Kimberly Barbich and her son Logan and daughter Katerina Barbich of Aurora, Colorado; Derek Middleton and wife Aubrey and their son Chandler Middleton, and daughters Zoey McKean, and Layla and Violet Middleton of Broomfield, Colorado; Melanie and Jesse Gregg, and their daughters; Kylie Gregg and son Keaton Gregg of Monte Vista Colorado; and Kenedi Acosta, of Alamosa, Colorado. Ken had many uncles and aunts and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held at Mountain View Fellowship Church, at 1955 Headlight Rd, Strasburg, Colorado on November 27th at 11:00am.
