Obituary of Dalleen Welp

Dalleen Linnet Welp (55) of Strasburg, CO passed away suddenly on August 24, 2021. Funeral services will be September 4, 2021, at Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bennett, CO at 11 a.m. Final resting will be at the Mt. View Cemetery, Bennett, CO. Dalleen was born on July 24, 1966, in Denver, Colorado to Vencil and Shirley Welp. Dalleen spent her life watching over her family. She was full of joy and lit up when her loved ones came to visit. Although she was non-verbal, she communicated through her eyes and body language. With her sparkling eyes and brilliant smile, she lovingly guided everyone to do what she wanted done. Dalleen’s earthy body confined her, but now she is free to dance and sing. She is in Heaven with dad and giggling with grandma. Survived by her loving mother and faithful companion Shirley, sisters Clela (Chuck) Eggebrecht, Karla Stratton, LaVell (Andy) Winsor, Jilonne (Brad) Schaffer, and brother Vencil Jr. (Pattie) Welp. Nieces and nephews: Jacob (Ginnie) Flower, Kade Welp, Robert Stratton, Alyssa Schaffer, MaKayla Stratton, Brayden Winsor, Briley Schaffer, Olivia Stratton, Vencil Henry Welp, Axl Welp, and Vina Welp. Uncles and aunts: Dennis (Sharon) Welp, Estalene (Glenn) Wudtke, Linda Welp, Audrey Campfield, and Donna (Gene) Boyd and numerous cousins. Dalleen was proceeded in death by her father Vencil Sr., niece Kyla Flower, brother-in-law Oren Stratton, grandparents Wilbert and Elizabeth Welp and Frank and Merle Hanlon.
