The Henry family sends our condolenses and prayers to all of Smokey's family and friends. Smokey was my dad's, Ray Henry, last roommate at the nursing home. We all felt it was a blessing from God for dad to have Smokey as a roommate. Even though many of us only knew Smokey for a short time, we could tell that he was a special man. God Bless!!

We never had the good fortune to meet Poppa Smokey, but we have heard stories of what a character he was. We send our sympathies to Sandy and her family, Kay and Mark and their families as well. Sandy, we hope and pray you are recovering from your accident. We also are saddened that none of the Texas family was able to attend the services and say goodbye. God bless you all. Jan's mother Dora Mae was Smokie's dinner table mate. She really enjoyed him and the encouragement he gave her. He was the reason she looked forward to meals. She also enjoyed visiting with his wife. she really misses them.

Sorry to hear of Smokrys passing. My condolences are with you. I've known him for a long time. I loved his sense of humor and ornerniss. He reminded me a lot of my dad in that way. He will be missed.
