Myrna Williams

Obituary of Myrna J. Williams

Myrna Jean Williams was born on December 31, 1940 in Jerome, AZ and passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on August 6, 2020 in Bennett, CO. She married Charles (Chuck) Ray Williams on August 11, 1961 and throughout their marriage they moved over 10 times, sometimes across country, as Chuck served in the United States Air Force. After Chuck retired, they settled together in Bennett and lived in the community 37 years. Myrna worked both in Virginia and Colorado as a sales associate with JC Penny. Over the years, she belonged to several bible study groups and was a founding member of Grace Mountain Baptist Church in Bennett. She enjoyed reading, sewing and was talented at knitting and crocheting. She was also a wonderful cook with family favorites like fried chicken and tacos, but given the chance to eat out, she’d pick Chinese every time! Myrna is survived by her husband of 59 years, Chuck, her two sons and their wives Mike and Melissa Williams and Stuart and Tamani Williams and her daughter and her husband Bonnie and Bill Feight, grandchildren Cody Williams, Chandler Williams, Brooke Feight, Madison Feight, Christian Williams, Justin Sundling, Matt Sundling, Levi LaMere, Logan LaMere and Kaden LaMere and great-grandchildren Cameron and Aiden Williams. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Paul and Edna Major and two brothers Frank and Norman Major. Romans 10: 9-10 ~ That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
