Obituary of Jeffrey Linnebur
Jeffrey Jacob Linnebur, 51 of Deer Trail, Colorado passed away on February 1, 2015 at his home with his family at his side.
Jeff was born on March 19, 1963 in Denver, Colorado to Emmett and Susan (Sigg) Linnebur; the sixth of eight children born to this union. Jeff graduated from Byers High School in Byers, Colorado in 1981 and while in school he attended T. H. Pickens Tech receiving a welding certificate.
Jeff married Deanne Keller in Byers, Colorado on October 17, 1992 and the couple was blessed with three children; Cindy, Jacob and Jackie. He loved his family and enjoyed the time he spent with them.
Jeff was an athlete both in high school and as an adult; he mostly enjoyed playing basketball. He loved to watch local sporting events and never missed his childrens extracurricular activities. Jeff was an accomplished farmer and welder, over the years there werent too many things he could not fix. He believed in a hard days work and used his perseverance and strong work ethic to motivate those around him to work just as hard. Jeff was a people person who loved to visit; it was one of the things he enjoyed doing most. You never had to wonder if Jeff liked you or not, if he was being ornery and teasing you, then chances were he liked you. Above all, Jeff was a family man; as a devoted Catholic he was a faithful husband, father, brother and son and he will be missed by many.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Emmett E. Linnebur, his sister, Bernadette Savoie, father and mother- in- law, Richard and Donna Keller, and brother- in- law, Donald Keller.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Deanne and their children; son Jacob Linnebur, daughters Jackie Linnebur and Cindy (Noah) Miller and their children; Jonathan and Mason Miller, whom he adored. Jeff is also survived by his mother, Susan K. Linnebur, brothers; Ben Linnebur, Chris (Wendy) Linnebur and Joe Linnebur and his sisters; Margie Linnebur (David Eastwood), Susanne (Mike) Card and Traci (Brad) Weisensee, one brother-in-law Steve Savoie his uncle, aunts , many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
