Jake will be missed by more people than he ever could imagine. I will miss his stories, the 6-hour epic Talisman games. In my mind I will always remember you on the front porch tipping up your PBR in a friendly “hello”. Genuinely you were a great person, inviting, comical, hardworking, proud of his family, and most importantly grateful of all those around him. I am grateful to have know him. Until we meet again

I remember the first time I met jake! Mike Metcalf brought him with to a band practice of ours, and he was there for not more than 2 minutes and he said “ I’m bored let’s wrestle” he was a very kind person and made me feel welcomed. Love you Jacob. Until we meet again

Jacob my son I will miss you more than you will ever know. I always called you my favorite youngest son, and you always will be. I will miss hearing about what was going on in your life and the things that you wanted to do. You always lived life doing the things you wanted to do, and I am happy knowing that. You also cared deeply for others and their feelings and well being. Knowing that you are no longer in anguish helps my heart but still hasn't stopped the hurting. I will miss you and love you forever. Love you always. Dad.

Jake,
I am having trouble finding the words. You will be missed in this world so much by so many, you left far to soon. I am sure you are already making the next world a better place with your kind soul. I know you will find peace and happiness there.

I wish you infinite peace and blessings as you move onto your next space and time. I will remember the laughter, jokes and stories that we shared and the beautiful soul that lived in the little boy and grown man that I knew and loved. This life will be a quieter place without you and I am a better person for having known you. I expect some amazing stories when we meet again! Until we find each other again, know that Aunt Laurie has always and will always love you!

Jake was a kind soul, who went out of his way to help others. He was a good Son, Brother, Grandchild and Cousin. He enjoyed sitting in the backyard with my son Justin, and telling stories around the campfire. They both loved to fish, and I have fond memories of the two of them fishing together. I know that he is at peace now, and his Grandads are taking good care of him. I will see you again someday Jake, and you can show me where the fish are biting. Love You Buddy.

My deepest sympathy for this most difficult time.
Please find comfort in knowing that our Heavenly Father hears and is listening to your prayers for comfort. He too recognizes death as an enemy (1Cor. 15:26) and truly understands the depth of your grief and loss. "God is close to the brokenhearted; he saves those who are crushed in spirit.”—Psalm 34:18, 19.
Again I am so sorry for your loss.
