Obituary of Jody R. Neidig

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Lifelong Burlington, Colorado resident, Jody R. Neidig passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Yuma Life Care Center in Yuma, Colorado. He was 56 years old. Jody was born on August 29, 1960 in Burlington, Colorado to Gary and Jackie (Boyles) Neidig. He was one of three children born to this union. He attended school in Burlington until the 9th grade. After school he worked for Red King, Leo King, Clarence Winslow and he drove a trash truck for 20 years. Jody attended the First Christian Church in his earlier years. In his spare time he liked to play cards and he loved to listen to classic rock on 102.5 radio station. He is preceded in death by his father, Gary, all four grandparents, Aunt Joie and Lonny Wheeler, Aunt Judy Bucholz and Uncle John Boyles. Those left to cherish his memories are his mother, Jackie of Burlington, his two children, Nate and Kristine Neidig, 4 grandchildren, his brother, Cary (Ronda) Neidig of Burlington, Colorado, and his sister, Cindy (Brad) Bullard of Las Vegas, Nevada, his Aunt Janice Barnhart of Colby, Kansas, Uncle Marvin Bucholz of Denver, Colorado, Aunt Veronica Boyles of Burlington, Colorado, Aunt Jerri (Jim) Troyer of Missouri, 3 nieces and many cousins.
