Obituary of Robert Christie

Robert “Bobâ€? C. Christie, 48, of Limon, CO passed away at the Lincoln Community Hospital in Hugo, CO September 14, 2005. Bob was born in Kent, England on April 21, 1957 to William Hume and Joyce Evelyn Christie one of five children. Bob graduated from Colorado Arrow Tech in Broomfield, CO where he obtained his airframe and power plant license. Bob attended the First United Methodist Church of Limon. He enjoyed tractor pulling and racing cars and was a member of the Rocky Mountain Association of Garden Tractor Pulling. Bob is preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister. He is survived by his daughters; Shylah Hartnett of Castle Rock, CO and Shelby Christie of Limon, CO, two brothers; Bill Christie of Limon, CO and Ian and his wife Kay Christie of Limon, CO, one sister; Jessie Christie of Los Angeles, CA, nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Memorial services were held Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at the First United Methodist Church of Limon, CO with Reverend Frank and Linda Hoover officiating.
