Obituary of Marie Verhoeff

Marie Ann (Bauman) Verhoeff age 95, passed away May 19, 2006 at the Lincoln Community Nursing Home in Hugo, Colorado. Marie was born on February 15, 1911 to Joe and Ida (Laces) Bauman in Falls City, Nebraska. She was one of seven children. Marie married William Leonard Verhoeff in February of 1940. Marie was a homemaker for most of her life. Marie enjoyed dancing in her younger years she also loved playing cards and occasionally quilted in her spare time. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and three sisters. Marie is survived by two sister in-laws, Marie Bauman of Oregon and Margret Bauman of Kansas. A Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday May 24th, 2006 at the St Mary’s Catholic Church in Flagler, Colorado with interment to follow at the Flagler Cemetery in Flagler, Colorado. Visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with a rosary to start at 10:00 a.m. Memorials may be left to the Flagler Vol. Ambulance fund P.O.
