Obituary of Dorothy Ziegler

Dorothy Lee Ziegler, age 69 of Limon passed away May 20, 2006 in her home in Limon. Dorothy was born May 10, 1937 in Denver, Colorado to George Harry Campbell and Bendena Elizabeth (Hildebrand) Campbell. Following her father’s death when she was two her mother remarried her step father Ralph Johnson of Agate, Colorado. Dorothy enjoyed working crossword puzzles and attending garage sales. Dorothy married Robert Carl Ziegler in 1956. Following his death she married Bill Wolverton in 1996. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her step father, two half brothers Alfred, and Ralph. Dorothy is survived by her husband Bill Wolverton of Limon, Colorado, Four children Betty and husband Don Castner of Denver, Colorado, Robert and wife Jeannette Ziegler of Longmont, Colorado, Debra and husband Doug Dunlap of Evergreen, Colorado, and Steve Ziegler of Hugo, Colorado. Four brothers Harrold Campbell of Anchorage, Alaska, Richard and wife Alfa Campbell of Chino, California, David Campbell of Ashland, Oregon , and John Campbell of Lakewood, Colorado. Three sisters Marge Screne of Genoa, Colorado, Cookie and husband Russ Brown of Avon, Utah, and Maxine and husband Frank Woodard of Agate, Colorado. Three step children Mike and wife Kenzie Wolverton of Hyrum, Utah, Kelly and husband Leo Herzog of Logan, Utah, and Dan and wife Kathleen Wolverton of Shoshone, Idaho. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, five step grandchildren, three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Love Funeral Home in Limon, Colorado with Pastor Jerry Allen Officiating. Burial will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery in Denver, Colorado. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2006 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Love Funeral Home in Limon, Colorado.
