Obituary of Jason West

View Video Tribute Jason Lee West, 23 of Limon, CO passed away on August 23, 2006 in Red Willow, Nebraska. Jason was born on September 20, 1982 in Denver, CO to Leon and Glessa (Stanart) West the oldest of three children. Jason graduated from Miami Yoder High School on May 20, 2001 then attended Pikes Peak Community College graduating with a degree in diesel mechanics. Jason attended the Full Gospel Assembly in Limon, CO. Jason loved driving and working on anything with a motor and wheels Jason was a extremely hard worker. Jason loved the Broncos and enjoyed eating, camping and fishing in the mountains he also liked riding roller coasters. He really enjoyed the time he spent at his grand-parents farm and he loved children. Jason worked on oil rig platforms in the Gulf of Mexico. Jason was preceded in death by his step grandfather; Charles Cauthon. Jason is survived by his parents; Leon (Kathy-Young) West of Calhan, CO and Glessa West of Limon, CO, two sisters; Tiffiany and June West also of Limon, CO, step-brothers; Steven and John Young of Calhan, CO, maternal grandmother, June Hastings of Calhan, CO, paternal grandparents; Lesley and Pearl West of Simla, CO, aunts; Della May (Paul)Wallers, Loretta (Duane) Rowland, Leona (Dick) Bullock and Chris (Pete) Rhea all of CO, uncles, Alvin (Waunetta) West of CO, Marvin (Carol) West of SC, Kenny (Judy) West of CA, Curtis Cauthon of Calhan, CO, Lyle (Ruby) West of CA, Larry (Sharon) West of OK, Darrell (Debbie) West of TX, and Edwin (Myra) West of Falcon, CO, cousin/brother Justin (Peggy) Cauthon, of Simla, CO and numerous loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Jason will be held 10:30 A.M. Monday, August 28, 2006 at the Full Gospel Assembly in Limon, CO. A graveside committal service will be held later that afternoon, 2:30 P.M. at the Calhan Cemetery in Calhan, CO. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 27, 2006 from 2:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the Love Funeral Home Chapel, Limon, CO. Memorial may be made to the Jason West Memorial Fund in c/o Love Funeral Home P.O.
