View Video Tribute
Judy Miller departed this life for the peace of heaven October 21, 2006. Although our hearts ache with grief from the tragedy of unexpected loss, we find comfort to know she was taken home to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ.
Judy Ann Borden was born June 13th 1961, in Monte Vista, Colorado to Theo and Margie Borden. She moved shortly after to Stratton, Colorado where she attended school and Graduated in 1979. Judy loved animals, especially her horse âShortyâ?. She also enjoyed playing the piano and clarinet for church, and school. She participated in many band and choir competitions and was named in the âWhoâs Who in Music 1978-1979.
Judy attended Gulf Coast Bible College where she met her husband of 24 years, Rory Miller. They were blessed with two sons, Jonathan and Ethan. Judy loved her family. She was the number one fan at every baseball, football and basketball game. The shy quiet girl disappeared when ever one of her boys took the field.
Judy will be greatly missed by customers at the âDairy Treatâ?, where she was a partner with her mother. She also enjoyed walking and had logged nearly five-hundred miles for 2006. She was also active for many years in her local church with childrenâs church and puppet ministries. Judy loved working with Rory in the childrenâs activities.
Judy was greeted in Heaven by her grandparents; Clarence and Eva Borden, and Reverend John Shue, also a cousin Travis Shue. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Rory Miller; Sons, Jonathan Miller and Ethan Miller; Parents, Theo and Margie Borden, all of Stratton Colorado and Grandmother, Frances Shue Sister, Joy Walker (Michael), Tyler and Kenya of Pueblo Colorado. She will also be missed by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, other relatives and a community of friends.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Miller were held on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the Stratton Activities Center with Pastor Dustin Sells officiating. Burial was held in the Claremont Cemetery. There was no visitation.
Memorials may be made in Judyâs name and may be left at the First National Bank in Stratton, Colorado.
