I wish I had more than 250 words to say something about Bob. Bob was an adopted Grandfather to my sister and I. Bob and Virginia were such a large part of the Lynch family. Bob let me drive the big farm truck in the field to collect straw bales. Bob and Virginia led the youth group for such a long time and were both an example of the Christian life. I even recently ran across pictures of Bob and Virginia at my high school graduation. They came to my wedding. I regret that we only were back to see them once in recent years. They spent time with my whole family for a good part of an afternoon back in 2003. I regret we did not make it back since to visit. Simla has lost one true gentleman. His selflessness was exemplified in all his life. It is a shame that there is not more written about him here. He may not have had children, but he had family...and I certainly consider him my grandfather. The impact he has had in peoples lives is greater than we all know.
