Marvin was a dear friend. We worked together for years in CEAT Faculty Council and he was a close friend and mentor to our daughter at OSU. I always considered him the best of the best.

Our hearts are broken for the loss of Marvin and Bonnie. Our parents, Charles and Ladonna Rice of Stillwater were friends of theirs, having met them the Wednesday prior for coffee. Charles and Marvin worked together years ago at OSU, LaDonna and Bonnie were friends as well. Our daughter Cydney had meet Marvin a time or two while accompanying Grandpa to "coffee with the boys" and Marvin and Cydney would discussed Colorado, his home state and our current home. Your loved ones touched so many. These Cowboys and Stillwater natives greave with you.

Dr. Stone and his wife Bonnie are two of the most amazing people I have ever met. Dr. Stone is one of the most highly decorated professors in the field of engineering but he was also the most humble. I have never seen a professor that could teach incoming freshman (BAE 1012) and help them with the transition from high school to college so well. And then the next hour teach one of the most advanced graduate level courses. He was a diverse professor that could make the most difficult engineering concepts seem simple. He could relate to freshman and graduate students alike. He knew engineering theory and was practical as well. Bonnie was just as humble as Marvin and she was always so happy and cheerful. Dr. Stone taught my first ever BAE class. As a transfer student into the engineering program I was scared to death! Dr. Stone made my transfer into engineering go very smoothly and I owe a lot of my engineering career today to him for his guidance. Dr. Stone made me a better engineer and his attitude is a great example of how an engineer should be in their career. I feel so fortunate to have known Marvin and Bonnie and they will be missed.

My memories of Ron go back to the early 1970s when he was and undergraduate in AE at CSU. He was a good student and most helpful in developing the department in the years when it was growing. I have followed Rons career and taken pride in his many accomplishments and contributions. He will be truly missed.

Best memories from WSU visits. My husband Greg, Glenn Kranzler, Roy and Patti would all get together for dinners. Marv and Bonnie were just the best.
We all went to Cannon Beach, Ore. together. Glenn and I were just talking about them earlier this month on Glenns trip to Washington.
