Obituary of Mary Hale

Mary Mae Hale age 86 of Hugo, Colorado formerly of Ranger, Texas passed away March 5, 2008 in Hugo, Colorado. Mary was born February 21, 1922 in Cisco, Texas to Joe and Mary Mae (Casey) Bailey. She grew up and attended school in Cisco, TX. Mary married La Voise “Heavyâ€? Hale on March 23, 1942 in Ranger, TX. to this union two sons were born. Mary enjoyed fishing, shopping, and loved to paint oil paintings. Heavy and she were members of the Ranger Riding Club and the Mesquite-Rusk Church of Christ in Ranger, TX. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Randall Lee, and one sister Leona. Mary is survived by a son Wayne Hale of Yoder, CO; a sister Ollie Haltom of Huston, TX; and seven grandchildren: Bobby Hale and his child Micah of Bowie, TX, Angie and husband Richard Hatley and her children Ashtyn, and Chase Hammit of Flower Mound, TX, Shane Hale of Austin, TX, Randy Hale of Lewisville, TX, Jennifer and husband Jody Underwood and their children Grady, and Maddock of Roscoe, TX, Clayton and wife Christina Hale and their children Catherine, and Caryn of Hugo, CO, and Stacy and husband Kevin Flournoy and their children Griffin, and Ethan of Breckenridge, TX. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 10, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Ranger, TX with Pastor Drew Hyde, officiating. Burial will follow in the Merriman Cemetery in Ranger, TX. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 9, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Ranger, TX.
