Obituary of Linda Blosser

View Video Tribute Linda Sharon Blosser, age 67 of Aurora, Colorado passed away April 24, 2008 at her home in Aurora. Linda was born October 25, 1941 in La Junta, Colorado to William Jacob and Myrtle Belle (Sowell) Bobst. She was one of three children. Linda graduated from Campion Academy in Loveland, Colorado in 1959. Following graduation, she attended Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska where she was involved in choir and band, playing the piano and clarinet. Linda transferred to Metro State College in Denver where she received her BA in Elementary Education. Linda married Dave Blosser on December 31, 1979 in Lakewood, Colorado. Linda was a member of the Aurora First Seventh Day Adventist Church where she was a Path Finders Leader and a Sabbath School Teacher. When Nolana and Vachelle were small children, she attended Denver West Adventist Church and had taught Sabbath School. Linda was a substitute teacher for various Denver Public Schools and at Arvada Adventist Church School for a few years. She enjoyed various outdoor activities such as camping, four wheeling, and driving through the mountains. She collected butterflies and loved animals, especially her cats. Linda was a talented seamstress and embroidery, and also enjoyed photography. She loved watching the Western Channel and John Wayne movies. Above all, Linda had a passion for her family and God. Linda was preceded in death by her father, William Bobst. Linda is survived by her mother Myrtle Bobst of Aurora, CO; her husband Dave Blosser of Aurora, CO; two daughters, Nolana (Mike) Lemley and their daughter Sarah Belle of Simla, CO and daughter Vachelle Beckham of Aurora, CO; two sisters, Margaret Gouveia of Thornton, CO and Barbara (Dale) Shaw of Gunnison, CO; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, May 4, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Aurora Seventh Day Adventist Church in Aurora, Colorado. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.
