Jay,Charlayne and family, Our SINCERE SYMPATHY to each of you. I know there have and will continue to be some very long and hard days and nights. Find strength and comfort in your family, friends and each other. We recently lost our 17 year old niece, Mickie Sue Kraft in an accident, and it has been so very hard! You certaily realize how much you love and miss them! I've wondered how people go on after the loss of a loved one, and realize through memories,strength in family & friends and knowing our loved ones are with God, sure helps. We just lost my little sister in May (Mickie Kraft). I am very sorry you have to go through this, I know it does not seem fair. I am not going to lie it does not get easier at least not so far. Some days it seems harder and I know there is nothing I can say to make you feel better. I hope your family can stay strong though this all, I know it is hard to understand that everyone deals with things like this differently and it can be frustrating at times. Keep his memory strong, write down things you think about (stories, things he said recently), so the memories never fade. Sincerely, Courtney

There is nothing to compare with the loss of a child. We lost our daughter in a car accident on May 20th. Just one day short of a month before your loss. I wish I had some magic words to give that would help you right now, but I really don't. Just be easy on yourself. As mothers we have always been able to fix things and help everbody with there problems. This is why when something like this happens we have no idea what to do. We can't fix it, we can't make it better and we can't make it go away. At first doing anything that had something to do with Mickie gave us comfort. We did picture albums, planted a memorial garden,etc. Doing things for her made us feel close to her. Just try to keep the memories strong and talk about Evan every chance you get. Some days all I want to do is talk about Mickie. Evan and Mickie left this world to soon but they both live on our hearts. Pam Kraft & Family

I went to school with Jay and although I didn't know Evan, I have heard and read many good things about him. You can be proud that he was such a wonderful young man. He will be missed very much. Evan was an amazing guy. Was the nicest guy i have ever meet. Even as a kid when i hanged out with at church... he would be so sweet. I am so sorry for what happened to him...I will never forget him.
