Obituary of Lorraine Grover

Lorraine Louise Grover 82 of Calhan, CO passed away August 8, 2008 at the Simla Good Samaritan. Lorraine was born July 15, 1926 to Lawrence LaBerge and Lela Redman in Santa Monica, California. Lorraine was one of three children. In 1944 Lorraine married John Douglas. They were married 27 years until his passing in 1971. To this union four children were born John, Caren, Jerry and Steven. Following John’s death Lorraine married Frank Sferrazzo in 1972. Following Frank’s death she met and married John Grover and were together until his passing in 2002. Lorraine enjoyed relaxing with her down time one of her favorite ways of doing this was taking drives and watching nature. She truly enjoyed taking drives in the country side and watching the antelope. She also enjoyed gambling always trying to hit it big is what kept her coming back. Lorraine was very active with her crocheting often making blankets and robes for the nursing home and all of her family. Lorraine was proceeded in death by her parents, first husband John Douglas her second husband John Grover and one son John Douglas Jr. Lorrain is survived by her three children Caren (Jerry) Benson of Calhan, CO; Jerry Douglas of Medford, OR and Steven (Renee) Douglas of San Jose, CA. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. There will be no services held at this time. Memorial may be made to a charity of Donor’s choice. Arrangements were entrusted to Love Funeral Home of Limon, CO.
