View Video Tribute Virgia Marie (Brewer) Antle of Hugo, CO passed away on October 13, 2008 in Colorado Springs, CO. Virgia was born on April 26, 1954 in Colorado Springs, CO to Charles S. and LaVerne J. (DeVare) Brewer one of three children. She grew up on a dairy farm owned by her parents, in the community of Drennan, CO and graduated from Ellicott High School graduating in 1972. Received an associates business degree from Pikes Peak Community College in Colorado Springs, CO in 1982. Virgia married Harold E. Antle, August 21, 1982 at the Ingleside Methodist Church, Ingleside, Texas. They lived at the Cave of the Winds in Manitou Springs, CO for 4 years. They moved to Hugo, CO in August of 1989 where they bought a fixer upper home. Virgia worked for ECCOG, project Smile meals for about 10 years. She started working for Lincoln Community Hospital and Nursing Home, April 16, 2001, as a cook, she has enjoyed her job and co-workers. Virgia is a member of Ladies Auxilary VFW # 6612 Hugo, CO. She served as president for 9 years. Virgia is also a member of the Hugo United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, needlework, gardening, fishing, crocheting and doing puzzles. Virgia was preceded in death by her mother LaVerne (Bobbie) Brewer and one sister Melody Lynn Brewer, cousin Melissa (Brewer) Windhelm, grandfather Charles Sylvester Brewer, grandmother Pearl T. (Akers, Brewer) Smith, step-grandfather G. Wyman Smith, grandmother Virgia (Neighbors) DeVare, and grandfather Lewis G. DeVare. Virgia is survived by her father Charles Springer Brewer, stepmother Ethel (Taylor) Brewer of Ramah, CO, brothers; Kanyon Kay and Cathy Brewer of Kinsley, KS and Wyman Lewis Brewer of Rush, CO. Stepbrothers and stepsisters Chuck and Marcia Goin of Pueblo, CO, Allen and Natalie Goin of Ellicott, CO, Mary Jo Goin and Shane Lance of Cedaredge, CO and Danial and Carrie Goin of Silt, CO and several nieces and nephews.
